University Technology Malaysia (UTM)
The Department of Architecture, University Technology Malaysia (UTM), is Malaysia’s oldest architectural school. It is one of five schools of the College of Built Environment. The school’s origins may be traced back to the early days of Kuala Lumpur Technical School, Brickfields Road, Kuala Lumpur, which was founded in 1904. Its present incarnation was formed in 1975 on Jalan Gurney in Kuala Lumpur. The school was then relocated to its current location in Skudai Campus, Johor, as part of the bigger, eventually main campus of UTM, in 1987.
University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
The Architecture Department was established in 2002. Bachelor of Architectural Science is the undergraduate program available (LAM Part 1). A semi-professional degree is a Bachelor of Architectural Science (Part 1). It includes courses in design studio, architectural history and theory, environmental science, building structures, building services, architectural communication, building technology, and materials. The curriculum is centered on the design studio course, which serves as the program’s foundation.

University Technology MARA (UiTM)
The Center of Studies for Architecture presently offers two architecture degree programs. The Bachelor of Science (Architecture) program prepares students to acquire their first degree, whereas the Bachelor of Architecture Program is a professional program that prepares graduates to work as architects. Starting in September 2011, the Master of Architecture (MArch) program will provide full-time classes. These programs are designed to produce graduates with creative design capabilities, as well as leadership and entrepreneurial abilities. In addition to the curricula’s scientific and technological approach, the courses emphasize the relevance of students’ environmental responsiveness. The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment (FETBE) was formed in 2007 as a consequence of a synergistic merger of the Schools of Engineering and Architecture and Built Environment, which were founded in 1992 and 2005, respectively.

The Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment (FABE) strives to graduate students in Architecture and Quantity Surveying. University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)
The Architecture School is intended for students who want to pursue a professional career in architecture and work as Architects in Malaysia. The curriculum is an authorized degree certification recognized as Part I of the professional exam by the Malaysian Board of Architects, or Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM). Graduates of the architecture degree program will be allowed to work as Assistant Architects and/or pursue their Masters in Architecture at UTAR (completely recognized as LAM Part II exam) in order to register as Graduate Architect with the Malaysian Board of Architects.
LimKokWing University of Creative Technology (LUCT)
