About SIS
Sunway International School is Malaysia’s premier international school that offers the Ontario (Canada) Secondary School curriculum, as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), from Kindergarten to pre-university.

Sunway Campuses
The campuses of Sunway international school are located in Kuala Lumpur(SISKL) and Iskandar Puteri, Johor (SISJ). SIS campuses in central and southern West Malaysia are home to the only Canadian (Ontario) and IB World Schools in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Kuala Lumpur Campus
The world-class, purpose-built, green-certified, and contemporary school is about 3.5 kilometers from the present campus in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
Johor Campus
The campus, located in the heart of Sunway City Iskandar Puteri in Johor, is intended to provide international education to students of all ages.
The Only Canadian School in Malaysia
Sunway International School (SIS) is the only international school in Malaysia to provide the famous Canadian School Curriculum leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, a certification that is worldwide recognized for university entry.
The curriculum in Canada is student-centered, performance-driven, and based on the continuing growth of students. The formative evaluation of student success is based on a 70% coursework and 30% final test split. At SIS, all Canadian credit courses are taught by Ontario College of Teachers-certified Canadian instructors (OCT). This certificate identifies SIS instructors as professionals whose pedagogical approaches are governed and influenced by globally benchmarked standards and practices.
SIS has been designated an International Baccalaureate World School and is authorized to provide the IB Diploma Program (IBDP). SIS students in grade 10 have the option of continuing with the Canadian curriculum and graduating with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma or pursuing the IBDP, which is one of the most widely recognized certificates for entry into the world’s most prestigious institutions.

Sunway School Curriculum
Kindergarten
The SIS Kindergarten Program is a Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) curriculum with a student-centered design. Hands-on learning, particularly play-based learning, is used to include discovery, play, and inquiry into the education of young children.
Primary School
The Primary School program aims to provide children with the information and skills necessary to become educated and engaged citizens in their communities and throughout the world. The programs strike a careful balance between academic rigors and creative interests, as well as a strong focus on reading, numeracy, and learning abilities.
Middle School
Middle School Programs (Grades 6–8) are year-long programs that provide a smooth transition from elementary (primary) to secondary (high) school. The programs strike a careful balance between academic rigors and creative interests, as well as a strong focus on reading, numeracy, and learning abilities.
High School
The Grade 9 to 10 programs are designed to provide students with a solid academic foundation in a variety of subjects. It is organized on a semester basis, with an emphasis on project-based learning, assignments, field visits, individual study, and group projects. Beginning with just one optional topic in Grade 9, the number of optional subjects students can take grows as they continue through high school, allowing them to follow their interests and strengthen their decision-making abilities.
Students in Grade 11 are prepared for pre-university and university study. Preparing entails picking more specialized subjects that address advanced themes in depth. Students are advised on topic choices to support their higher or further education goals. During the learning process, students gain analytical, communication, organizational, and research abilities. International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP)
