About Taylor’s
Private Taylor’s University, also known as Taylor’s, is located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Based on the QS World Institution Rankings, it is frequently recognized as Malaysia’s best private university.
It was established in 1969 as a college, then in 2006 and 2010 it received university status.
In addition to British University Vietnam, Taylor’s College, Garden International School, Nexus International School, Australian International School Malaysia, and Taylor’s International School, Taylor’s University is a part of the Taylor’s Education Group.
Taylor’s is more than just a standard for superior education. For the last 50 years, Taylorians have developed and honed their special abilities there to produce discoveries, breakthroughs, and trends that have changed people’s lives.

Research Centers
Centre for Research and Innovation in Tourism (CRiT)
The Centre for Research and Innovation in Tourism (CRiT) is responsible for the administration, management, and implementation of tourism-related research and innovation initiatives. CRiT is devoted to excellence in research and has developed into a prominent tourism research center in Malaysia and internationally. By concentrating on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Centre promotes transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary research initiatives in a broad variety of social scientific fields (SDGs). The Centre’s mission is to be the preeminent academic research center in the nation in order to promote a sustainable future.
Center for Smart Society 5.0 (CSS5)
Center for Smart Society 5.0 (CSS5) focuses on improving the living conditions of a community in which society is fully connected, human-centered, data-driven, egalitarian, and strikes a balance between the resolution of economic and social concerns. By utilizing cutting-edge-technologies such as Big Data, Machine Learning, AI, Drones, Cybersecurity, Robots, Additive Manufacturing(3D Printing), the Internet of Things, Virtual & Augmented Reality, Blockchain to drive next-generation technologies that seamlessly simplify daily life, overcome global problems, and create a community functioning at an elevated level, the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be met by 2030.
Research Centre for Future Learning (RCFL)

Taylor’s Research Centre for Future Learning assures the provision of exceptional, relevant, and creative teaching and learning experiences. This mission stems from Taylor’s determination to become one of the region’s premier teaching and learning institutions.
Center for Drug Discovery and Molecular Pharmacology (CDDMP)
The center consists of a multidisciplinary team with scientific experience in a wide variety of research fields, including natural products, molecular pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, cell & molecular biology, and formulation & drug delivery.
Center for Industrial Revolution and Innovation (CIRI)
Malaysia’s Taylor’s University has the Center for Industrial Revolution and Innovation (CIRI). Through collaborative interdisciplinary research and scholarly innovation in the fields of financial literacy and technology, digital innovation, they lead and/or help in the scientific investigation of resolving complicated challenges related to integrating technology into business and management. Both the academic and corporate sectors may benefit from CIRI’s contributions to research, instruction, and service.

Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022: #51-75 for Hospitality & Tourism Management. Taylor’s University is ranked #51-75 for the Hospitality & Tourism Management subject in the latest Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2022. They are the only private university in Southeast Asia to be listed four years in a row in this prestigious university ranking.
